Actinide Science
PNNL's our primary expertise lies in development, scale-up and deployment of first-of-a-kind radiochemical processes to solve environmental problems and includes experience with high-level and low-level mixed tank wastes and their simulants. Our work encompasses nuclear systems design and demonstration, including extensive experience with plutonium stabilization and tritium production and as well as support for scientific advances in the beneficial uses of isotopes in medicine and industry.
