Bruce Bjornstad Provides Bird's Eye View of Cataclysmic Floods

October 2004
Thanks to ETD's Bruce Bjornstad and his lecture about the Ice Age floods, about 140 people have a better idea of the forces that shaped the Pacific Northwest. To see the changes these cataclysmic floods made, Bruce provided a bird's eve view of the geology, as many of the features are best understood from great heights looking down. Bruce has studied the Ice Age floods for more than 25 years. Recently, he performed an inventory of flood features for the National Park Service, which is proposing a first-of-its-kind Ice Age Floods National Geologic Trail. Congratulations, Bruce, on a talk well received!
