Tom Tenforde Receives Prestigious d`Arsonval Award for Lifetime Achievement in Bioelectromagnetics

ETD's Dr. Thomas Tenforde is the 2001 recipient of the d`Arsonval Award for lifetime achievement in the field of bioelectromagnetics. Tom's career in this field spans 30 years, where he has been an international leader in research on the mechanisms of interaction and thresholds for biological effects associated with exposure to high-intensity static magnetic fields. The Bioelectromagnetics Society comprises more than 1,000 members worldwide. Tom is the seventh recipient of the award, which was first issued in 1985.
