Biography

Dr. Harding is a Hydraulic Engineer in the Hydrology Group and has been employed at PNNL since 2014. His experience includes basic and applied research in hydrology and hydroelectric machines. His principal areas of expertise are in experimental fluid dynamics, tidal and river velocity surveying, deployment of underwater instrumentation, and mechanical engineering design pertaining to hydroelectric and marine hydrokinetic turbines. He is a PNNL boat operator and swim qualified to help facilitate a range of field work.
