Socio-Technical Systems Engineer
Socio-Technical Systems Engineer

Biography

Danielle Preziuso is a socio-technical systems engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and a doctoral candidate at Stevens Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on the adoption and integration of renewable and distributed energy resources to promote a just, low-carbon future.

Preziuso leads PNNL's portfolio of distributed wind projects. In that role, she supports stakeholder engagement, market analysis, and international collaboration. She has experience in agent-based modeling, designing renewable energy landscapes for co-benefits, integrating equity into energy systems and decision-making processes, and conducting valuation studies within transactive energy systems.

Before joining PNNL in 2018, Preziuso worked at Landsvirkjun: The National Power Company of Iceland, where she specialized in wind energy development and performed wind resource assessments.
