Biography

Mark joined PNNL in 2003. His previous work experience has ranged from process simulation at a startup consulting business to process design at a large engineering/construction firm. Although broadly interested in engineering design and analysis, his focus has been the use of computational methods to solve practical problems, particularly involving fluid dynamics and heat transfer. Mark has recently been engaged in the application of the lattice-Boltzmann method to fluid flow through complex geometries.
