ETD Staff Support Lewis and Clark

June 2004
Thanks go to ETD's Dennis Dauble, Bill Rickard, David Harvey, and Darby Stapp, who serve on the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Council, part of the Tri-Cities Visitors and Convention Bureau. The council plans, promotes, and coordinates projects to commemorate the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial. Projects include building the Sacagawea Heritage Trail Project, a 22-mile trail along the Columbia River; expanding the Sacajawea Interpretive Center; and building an authentic Wanapum village in Sacajawea State Park Also, Dennis and Bill, with help from Georganne O'Connor (ED&C), have informed people through the Tri-Cities Visitors and Convention Bureau about what the explorers encountered. Their articles "Pacific Coast Fishes of the Lewis & Clark Expedition" and "Flowering Plants Lewis & Clark Collected" are very popular. Congratulations!
