Stansbury, Strom and Wester Make Key Contributions to WSU Nuclear Pharmacy Course

November 2004
Congratulations to ETD's Paul Stansbury, Dan Strom, and Dennis Wester for helping to develop and teach Washington State University's first-ever nuclear pharmacy course. This 240 contact-hour certificate course (of which they taught 150 hours) was presented on the Tri-Cities campus. Drawing on their experience as scientists and former professors, Paul, Dan, and Dennis devised innovative methods to teach radiological physics, radiation instrumentation, radiochemistry, and applicable regulations. Their methods stimulated the students' enthusiasm and understanding on this often challenging and unfamiliar material. Thank you, gentlemen, for supporting our community and helping to teach the next generation of nuclear pharmacists.
