Glendon Gee Appointed American Geophysical Union Fellow

March 2005
Congratulations to ETD's Glendon Gee on being named a Fellow in the American Geophysical Union. The AGU is a prestigious international organization that advances geophysical sciences worldwide through research, education, and public policy activities. Glendon received this honor for his pioneering work into water recharge in arid regions and for developing methods to measure vadose zone contaminants in low flux environments. His pioneering efforts have been critical to understanding how leaks from Hanford's waste tanks move. His knowledge has been sought by collaborators in Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Israel, and Russia. He has served as a technical expert for the International Atomic Energy Agency.
