Radha Motkuri, a PNNL senior research scientist, has been invited to serve on the editorial advisory board of the American Chemical Society’s (ACS’) journal Inorganic Chemistry.

The journal publishes fundamental studies in all phases of inorganic chemistry, and it is the most widely cited and respected journal in its field, covering bioinorganic, organometallic, solid-state, and materials chemistry, as well as chemistry of nanoscale systems.

Motkuri will join a board of 30 internationally distinguished scientists with interests covering the full range of inorganic chemistry. As a board member, he will help review papers that may appear controversial or for which a clear consensus has not yet emerged, and organize virtual issues to the journal in specific subfields.

“Having worked in this space for the last 20 years, I feel excited and privileged to join the editorial advisory board for the ACS’ well-cited and respected Inorganic Chemistry journal,” said Motkuri.

Motkuri will serve a three-year term beginning January 1. In addition to Inorganic Chemistry, he is also an editorial board member for the journals Scientific Reports and Inorganica Chimica Acta.
