Dose Validation for the NIOSH Leukemia Case Control Study - DOE Hanford Subjects

From 2001-2003 PNNL has prepared occupational radiation exposure estimates for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) multi-site Leukemia Case Control Study (LCCS), administered by the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU). The work performed by our staff involved data analaysis for approximately 400 Hanford nuclear workers. Our focus was primarily to examine hard-copy original monitoring and dose-of-record information for Hanford subjects of the LCCS. We provided expert evaluation of the accuracy of electronic dose records. This work involved developing a working job exposure matrix file and associated information for delivery to ORAU and then to NIOSH.
