Research Capabilities

Irradiated Materials

Using multidiscipline skills, PNNL scientists and engineers provide advanced characterization methods that generate high-quality data and information to support clients' decisions on issues related to a wide spectrum of projects. Our work involves measurements that use analytical tools to evaluate chemical, physical and radiological properties of materials to formulate solution plans for spent fuel chemistry, waste disposal, environmental sampling, and thermal process optimization issues.
