Standards Development
PNNL's Radiation and Health Technology staff participate in the development of national and international standards related to:
- Internal and external dosimetry
- Dosimetric measurements
- Radiation detection instrument performance.
As part of the standards development process, pilot testing may be performed to validate a standard before it is published. PNNL performs pilot testing on instrument performance standards and dosimetry standards.
