Sensor Platforms for Biomarkers of Response to Biological Agents: Nanoparticle Immunoassays for Detecting Protein Biomarkers
A nanoparticle immunoassay approach will be used to develop and demonstrate protein sensor platforms to detect protein biomarkers.
PNNL scientists will use a nanoparticle immunoassay approach to produce low-cost, fast and sensitive techniques for detecting specific protein biomarkers. The development of a protein sensor platform within this project will be tightly linked to the biomarker discovery process in other environmental biomarker projects. This will enable near-term development of diagnostic assays capable of recognizing biological agents based on detection of biomarkers of response.
