Sensor Platforms for Biomarkers of Response to Biological Agents: Immuno-PCR Bead Assays for Detecting Early Biomarkers
An ultra-sensitive immuno-PCR bead assay platform to detect biomarkers of host infection will be developed and demonstrated.
PNNL is developing an ultrasensitive immuno-PCR bead assay for detecting early biomarkers in saliva and serum to be used for detecting specific protein biomarkers. The platform will undergo testing to detect known protein/peptide mediators that play a role in the early events of the host response to infection.
