PNNL is applying its knowledge in surface chemistry, catalyst mechanisms, modeling of multiphase flow and chemical processes, material synthesis and aerosols to address abatement of emission from diesel engine exhaust to help meet upcoming emissions standards for cars and heavy trucks.
