Research Capabilities

Risk Assessment/Management

PNNL scientists have the ability to analyze large amounts of environmental data and develop suggested risk controls which, if put in place, would help mitigate potential hazards.

Multiple regulations and requirements govern the affects that miscellaneous work can have on the environment. PNNL's understanding of these regulations helps us understand the potential risks that can occur, based on the work that will be conducted, and support the implementation of suggested risk controls. The implementation of these controls helps minimize potential risks to the environment. By working closely with Hanford contractors, our skills are best utilized to ensure a safe environment.
