Controls Optimization and Re-tuning (CORe™)

Getting the best efficiency out of older commercial buildings

Newer commercial buildings are designed with energy efficiency in mind—older ones generally were not. But that doesn’t mean that older buildings can’t have their efficiency improved—or that it will be expensive to do so.

CORe™ is about using controls optimization and re-tuning options to capture no- and low-cost energy efficiency improvements in existing commercial buildings.

Re-tuning is a systematic process—it considers the whole building. It identifies and corrects operational problems such as inefficient scheduling, temperature set points, and static pressure set points. And shows you how to correct them.

In addition, we provide advanced training to the building's staff—energy, management, and operations and maintenance personnel—on the re-tuning process and how to implement re-tuning measures.
