Cleanup and Contamination Mitigation in Soils and Groundwater

PNNL has developed a variety of technical approaches to remediation of vadose and groundwater contamination.  These approaches include in situ redox manipulation, soil treatment using reactive gases, six-phase soil heating, and innovative bioremediation technologies.  We perform laboratory verification and pilot/full-scale demonstrations at U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Department of Defense sites and also provide laboratory research and development.
