Biography
Ryan Harnish is a senior research scientist. Since joining PNNL in 2007, his work has primarily focused on the use of acoustic telemetry to assess the behavior and survival of salmon and steelhead smolts in the Snake and Columbia River basins. Specifically, this work has addressed the effects of hydropower projects on the behavior and survival of smolts, and the effects of acoustic transmitter implantation on the performance of tagged fish.
