Biography

Nicole is a materials engineer in the Reactor Materials & Mechanical Design Group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and has been at the lab since 2009. Her specific areas of expertise include materials characterization and analytical chemistry. She has worked on a variety of research projects supporting ultra-sensitive nuclear measurements, dark matter experiments, NRC funded stress corrosion cracking behavior and friction stir weld characterization. Her current research direction is focused heavily on electron microscopy and mechanical properties testing. She also has extensive experience with ultra-trace level method development techniques for ICP-MS.
