Mond Guo is a staff engineer who joined that Pacific Northwest National Lab to work on heterogeneous catalysis in the renewable space. He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and his Ph.D. from Washington State University in 2019. Currently, he is researching the catalytic conversion of ethanol-based mixed oxygenate intermediates derived from waste feed sources to promote the development of alternative pathways towards sustainable aviation fuels and chemicals.
