Biography

Brad has spent his entire professional career at PNNL working on a wide variety of research and development projects. After initially working on Hanford Site projects associated with environmental monitoring and land release, Brad transitioned into other environmental research projects. As evidenced by his publication record (below), these projects spanned a variety of media and scales, ranging from regional atmospheric modeling and monitoring to groundwater-surface water interaction and groundwater remediation. The majority of these environmental projects were field-based, which led to an education in systems engineering from the school of hard knocks. This applied experience has since resulted in expanded involvement in National Security projects ranging from detection of underground explosions to development and testing of engineering improvements for radiation detection equipment.
