Biography

Dr. Katarzyna Grubel was born in Poland, where, in 2005, she has completed her MSc in Organic Technology at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. In 2006, she started her Inorganic Chemistry PhD program at the Utah State University in Logan, working for Prof. Lisa M. Berreau. In 2011, Dr. Grubel has begun her post-doctoral appointment in the organometallic group of Prof. Patrick L. Holland in Rochester, NY and in 2013, she moved with the group to the Yale University in New Haven, CT. In 2015, Dr. Grubel become a post-doctoral researcher at PNNL, Richland, WA, in the Catalysis Science Group, where she has worked until her appointment to the staff position in the Applied Chemistry group in 2018. Currently, her interests span the fields of CO2 capture, H2 carriers, and fuel optimization.
