Biography

Dr. Singh is a Mechanical Engineer in the Advanced Computing & Geointelligence team in the Hydrology group at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). His principal areas of expertise are in Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Multiphase Flows and Turbulent Flows. Dr. Singh has more than 15 years’ extensive research experience in CFD investigations of complex engineering and scientific problems in the various fields such as Mechanical, Hydraulics, Chemical, Biomedical, Aerospace, etc. In the hydrology group, he is performing basic and applied research in hydraulics and hydropower engineering using computational fluid dynamics. Prior to join PNNL, he was a team member of R&D 100 award winning project carbon capture simulation initiative (CCSI) at the National Energy Technology Laboratory.
