Biography
Sarmad Hanif is a Power Systems Research Engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2009 from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan, and both M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Technical University of Munich, Germany in 2013 and 2018, respectively. His research interests include power systems optimization, analysis, and economics. At PNNL, he has been involved in research activities related to transactive energy systems, energy storage systems, and marine renewable energies.
