Biography

Walter joined PNNL in 2019 as a Senior Research Engineer. For the previous 7 years, he was a project engineer for energy efficiency and demand response at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). His experience includes evaluating space conditioning, water heating, refrigeration, and ventilation technologies for residential or commercial applications. Walter has extensive experience in evaluating advanced heat pump technologies through laboratory and field techniques. Walter is a Professional Engineer (PE) and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
