Emily Ellwein is a rising junior at Gonzaga University (GU) and is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Applied Mathematics. She is interested in learning more about electrical power, renewable energy, mathematics, and computing. To pursue those interests, Emily is involved in various clubs at her school, such as the GU Student Chapter of IEEE. Last year, she was the treasurer for Gonzaga's Women in Computing Club and will act as vice president next year. She is also an electrical team member for GU RoboSub, the main project of Gonzaga's Robotics club.

Emily Ellwein will be working this summer on technology tracking for the DOE's Advanced Manufacturing Office.
