Biography
Yan Zhao joined PNNL in August 2019 after 4-year service at National Center for Supercomputing Applications. Her research involves solving real-world complex problems with custom software development and data management. The collaborative and interdisciplinary working experience to date, as a full-stack programmer in interdisciplinary projects across hydrology, agriculture and biology, prepares Yan with a suitable starting point to further bridge requirements from domain scientists with up-to-date software development technology.
