Biography

Shiva Poudel joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) as a Power Systems Research Engineer in 2020. His research focuses on power distribution system modeling and analysis, distribution system restoration, resilience assessment, and advanced applications development for modern power distribution systems. Shiva holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University, and a BE in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering. In 2018 and 2019, he was a Summer Intern with the Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, Cambridge, MA, and the Electric Power Research Institute, Palo Alto, CA respectively.
