Biography
Patricia Prison joined PNNL as a fulltime employee in November of 2021 after completing her summer internship with the Tech Tracking Team. Since then, she has continued to work with the Tech Tracking Team to aid in PNNL's technology tracking efforts for U.S. DOE's R&D investments in multiple Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Office programs (Advanced Manufacturing, Buildings, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies). This work typically involves analysis of technical feasibility, as well as barriers, to development and commercialization/adoption of technologies, software, and processes resulting from DOE funding. Additionally, this work leads to published materials in the form of DOE program office technology commercialization reports and articles.
With her BAS in Information Technology, she has also brought useful computer science skills to the team to further aid in the evolution of how data is collected and processed. This includes knowledge of software programming, web development, SQL Server programming, and database management.
