Biography

Jamie is a research engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Her experience includes both commercial and residential energy efficiency for existing buildings. Before joining PNNL in 2022, Jamie worked for five years as an engineering consultant at Servidyne, providing energy and water audits, retrocommissioning, LEED and ENERGY STAR certifications, and other engineering services for large existing commercial buildings. While obtaining her master’s degree in 2016, she modeled a small residential microgrid using grid-integrated electric vehicle batteries. Before obtaining her master's degree, she worked at the Florida Solar Energy Center, where she supported evaluations of equipment and envelope improvements in residential and light commercial buildings.

Jamie is an active member of the ASHRAE Committee for Standard 100, Energy Efficiency in Existing Buildings, where she chairs a working group investigating energy targets used within the Standard.
