Clinton Ferry Terminal

This study examined means of reducing effects of ferry terminal expansion through terminal design features (e.g., moving slips farther from eelgrass) and through eelgrass transplanting. The overall mitigation goal for the Clinton Ferry Terminal on Whidbey Island, Washington, is no net loss of eelgrass on the project site. An additional goal is to evaluate new concepts in mitigating the shading effects of overwater structures.
